How Importance our children’s education

Parents who save for their children’s futures are not only making their childrens’ prospects of success more likely, they are also bestowing upon their children one of the best gifts they can give.

The building debt of university students is a terrible fate faced by more and more adults. Increasingly, higher degrees are essential to make living wages. For those who have graduated in a field that requires graduate work, even the smallest loan repayment plan can put major strain on their monthly budget if they cannot immediately enter the graduate field.

Some people may scoff at those students who never had to work a day in their lives, dismissing their opportunity with the concept that “work builds character.” However, to a student who values his or her education, university IS work - the most important work of their lives up to that point. “Working” at low-paying, energy-sapping job just to eat, pay rent, and buy books takes away from the educational experience, sinks moral, and causes students to drop out.

Parents who have saved money for their children’s education are giving their children the confidence to do whatever it is in life they want to do without the burden of debt. They are saying to their children, “I value your mind - go develop it with my blessing.” Education isn’t always about making more money; it’s about giving people the opportunity explore the world in which we live and to contribute to it.

Parents who save money for their children’s education invest in their own legacy . . . and their children’s.
